A Board Certified Plastic Surgeon in Scottsdale, AZ
Understaffed clinic offers free plastic surgery to nurses, doctors.
“It has been a success,” Jiri Schweitzer, manager at the Iscare clinic. Unfortunately, for anyone else looking for jobs in central Europe, Ms. Scheweitzer said, “the establishment was now fully staffed and had to reject dozens of beauty-hunting job applicants.”
In previous years, many Czech nurses have been tempted out of the country by higher wages in western Europe. Accordingly, the Czech health system now needs about 6000 nurses in addition to the 90,000 already employed, according to official data. Normal charges total $5060 for breast implants, which is slightly more than three times the average nurse’s monthly wage and $3380 for liposuction.
Knowing how hard nurses work, I am sure that most of them “earned” their so-called “free” plastic surgery. Certainly, it would seem a reasonable way to reward employees. Note that the employees had to be with the clinic for three years before receiving the plastic surgery bonus.
