Scottsdale physicians and volunteers complete a successful medical mission in Nicaragua.
Scottsdale – The documentary video for the Medical Hands for Healing medical and surgical mission in Granada, Nicaragua is featured below. Dr. Aldo Guerra, a Scottsdale plastic surgeon, and the rest of the wonderful physicians and volunteers were fortunate to take time off to give back to the people of Nicaragua. This exciting video captures the amazing volunteers who used their experience and training to help others in need. Medical Hands for Healing, a Scottsdale based non-profit group, professionally undertook the task of organizing this trip and masterfully carried out an excellent medical mission. They group was able to perform fifty-one surgeries in the five or so days dedicated for surgery in Nicaragua.

Dr. Guerra’s Surgical Trip to Central America

Scottsdale – Dr. Guerra was one of the privileged physicians to attend the latest medical and surgical trip in Granada, Nicaragua with the Scottsdale based Medical Hands for Healing group. The trip focused on repairing cleft lips and palate deformities. It was a very successful trip with the group completing fifty-one surgeries. Helping the people of Nicaragua was a very rewarding experience for all the team members.

Day 2 of the AZ Ultimate Women’s Expo was fun and exciting.
It was a fun afternoon meeting and talking with women who attended the expo. Dr. Guerra was able to attend and spend some time discussing plastic surgery procedures in more details with attendees. The expos are rewarding because it gives our staff a break from the normal clinical environment.

The AB Guerra Plastic Surgery Center and Dr. Guerra are proud to support the Arizona Ultimate Womens Expo in Phoenix, Arizona. The event is being held this weekend at the convention center in downtown Phoenix. Our staff enjoys talking and educating the attendees on plastic surgery procedures. The event is very popular and attracts women form all parts of Arizona. This year they have Kirstie Alley and Helen Hunt as keynote speakers so it will definitely be fun and exciting.
