Scottsdale – Dr. Aldo Guerra presented an informative lecture on Combination Augmentation Gluteoplasty – Abdominoplasty for the Arizona Plastic Surgery Society on Wednesday October 12, 2011. Dr. Aldo discussed this plastic surgery combination by highlighting the history and data that has been collected previously and comparing it to his results. He used a variety of tables and photos to demonstrate the different available techniques and options. It was very interesting learning about the evolution of both the gluteal and abdominal plastic surgery procedures that have developed over the years.

Arizona’s Ultimate Women’s Expo will be held at the Phoenix Convention Center in Downtown Phoenix. The expo starts on Saturday, October 22nd and will end on Sunday October 23rd. Doors open at 10am and closes at 5pm each day.
Guerra Plastic Surgery Center has been a proud supporter of the event since 2007. Dr. Aldo Guerra is one of the top plastic surgeons in Arizona and it will be fun to meet with attendees. Our plastic surgery staff will help educate and inform women on safe plastic surgery techniques, the latest information on silicone breast implants and the popular cosmetic procedures.

Rear of the Year? Is there such an Award?

Scottsdale – Recently, while reviewing a few recent articles about fat injections to the buttocks, I noticed an internet article about the winner of the “Rear of the Year”.
Well, here’s how the story goes…. The Telegraph reports ….. Pippa Middleton’s butt was the second-most-famous phenomenon to emerge from her sister’s wedding to Prince William. Certainly, I noticed almost all the nurses and doctors who are fans of the royal family talking about a certain revealing dress during the wedding. It looks like because of her recent derriere notoriety, she was entered in the “Rear of the Year”.
Despite her attributes, Pippa lost…. well, I should say, she got second place.
It turns out that in England, 50-year-old British television presenter Carol Vorderman’s butt was really famous. Sometimes it’s no fun to come in second place…. Anyway, poor Pippa lost the “Rear of the Year” title in the U.K.
For those who want to get noticed, whether or not you are in the running for a “booty award”, maybe considering a Brazillian buttock lift will add that extra zing to put you over the top!

New Techniques for Brazilian Butt Lift

Scottsdale – Every once in a while you might hear of a new technique that really impresses you. Today, I will talk about a techniques using the Aquavage® canister for fat collection and fat transfer. In principle, the canister allows a smoother collection of the fat using liposuction and then it improves the ability to separate the fat for fat transfer into the buttocks during Brazilian Butt Lift.
With experience using a similar technique, it has been noted that use of a canister like this one, will speed up the process and reduce the anesthesia time. In addition, with the right liposuction cannulas, the best fat cells can be harvested and then reintroduced into the buttock region more readily.
According to the manufacturer website, the Aquavage® is the first of its kind which allows volume for up to 2000 cc of fat harvest and “meets the needs of the surgeon performing high volume autologous fat transfer for full body sculpting, enhancement of the male pectoralis, rejuventation of the face and enhancement of the buttocks”.
Solid fat parcels are also a good idea when it comes to hand rejuvenation, but I especially like it for Brazilian Buttock Lift.
